What’s in Season?

My favourite season is summer, not just because it’s beach weather but also due to the abundance of fruits and vegetables that are avaialble at hand. The longer I live here in beautiful British Columbia, the more I start loving fall. We are actually quite lucky to have so much hearty greens and veggies still available for us right now. To help you get inspired to cook more in season during these colder fall and winter months, I created this list just for you!

Eating in season means getting more nutrients out of that vegetable or fruit as it is being harvested at its peak!
Buying local not only supports your own economy but also has less carbon footprint. So really, it is a win-win situtation all around! May you be inspired to create deliciously nutritious foods that are in season!
